     I'm so sorry for my extended absence, but I started reading Alchemised by SenLinYu and I literally could not put it down. I read all 1028 pages in the span of four days, and I only had to skip one lecture to do it. It is a testament to my prevailing attention span, and truly remarkable how I managed to turn in a couple assignments as well. But Oh My God I am STILL so sick. It started with a sore throat, then nausea, then the nausea replaced itself with a cough from my wet, wet lungs, which has done nothing for my throat. I truly thought it would be gone in a few days, but it's been over a week!!! I missed so many classes :') My book was great though. Shoutout to intensely messed up people in intensely messed up relationships in an insane world + superpowers holy moly. And because apparently 1028 pages and four days of non-stop reading wasn't enough for me, I've also hunted down a 200k+ fic told from the mmc's point of view to extend the worldbuilding ohhh I am so stoked. 

    I did actually make it to my chemistry lab, where my little group was the first to correctly dehydrogenize copper II sulfide pentahydroxide or whatever it was (truly I was just there to stir and weigh things)  and out lab instructor used ours as an example for what the color should look like when it's done!! Huge ego boost, that felt great (I got a 62.5 on the exam. Much needed reassurance that I am not rock stupid.), and then I took my goggles off and had to bear the humiliation of walking twenty minutes back to my apartment with red lines all over my face like infected wrinkles. Worst part of my Mondays. 

    And with that, I must bid you adieu, as it is 1am and I have 9 hours to read Gulliver's Travels for class tomorrow (today!)
